Rodderick Gerald King (Dr. Jockenstein) age 55 of Saint Louis, Missouri expired at the St.
Anthony's Medical Center in Saint Louis during the early morning hours of Monday, May 1, 2007. He had been ill
for the past five years before quietly departing this life. He was born February 11, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri
to the late Richard Prude and Evelyn King-Patterson.
Jock was reared and educated in East Saint Louis Public School District 189. He
began the pursuit of his life-long dream of becoming a radio disc jockey as a young teenager.
In latter years, he was one of St. Louis' most popular radio personalities. He aired on Metro stations WESL 1490
AM, KATZ 1600 AM, WZEN 100.3 FM and MAGIC 104.9 FM.
Mr. Rodderick G. King is survived by his wife, Idella (nee, Mosley) King of St. Louis, MO;
children and a host of other relatives and friends.
